BTCCSquare news:

The cryptocurrency industry lost approximately 1,000 jobs to artificial intelligence startups following ChatGPT's November 2022 launch, according to Andreessen Horowitz's State of Crypto 2025 report. The brain drain proved temporary—crypto firms have since replenished talent by recruiting 12,000 professionals from technology, finance, and consulting sectors.

While AI continues attracting technical builders, the blockchain ecosystem demonstrates remarkable labor market fluidity. Tech companies supplied the largest influx of workers (12,000), followed by finance and consulting firms contributing 6,000 hires. This two-way migration underscores the growing symbiosis between crypto and AI development landscapes.
